Hi, I'm Chris
I'm an Irish citizen deeply rooted in County Mayo. My grandfather, Vince, was born in Barnacogue, a small village near Swinford, and emigrated to England in the 1950s in search of work, with his brothers.
Although I never met him, I always try to honour his legacy, and remain deeply committed to exploring my Irish heritage, family tree, and maintaining connections with family and friends who we've met over the years.
I plan to write about my Irish heritage, my time in Ireland, things to do and see there, and things like that. I've put up a page about visiting County Mayo and the things I like to do there.
